Story of the artwork
Light and darkness are two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other. Every piece has its
place, and nothing should be pushed aside or denied, but rather brought to light, so that a deep
understanding of the truth may be realized. Sometimes feelings of imperfection, helplessness, ,anger,
resentment, and frustration fill the mind with darkness, but not the heart. It wants to shine and so seeks a
crack. Where the energy of light is born with hope, shattering all negativity and illusion, vanishing into
the distance. The new takes shape and enters the flow of life that transcends me.

Wholeness as absolute acceptance and the crumbling pride of the ego, the beauty of peacock feathers, the
power of depth that wants to draw you in, and you see a certain plasticity in the fragments that emerge
from the image, floating through space, while others fade into the distance.
